Terms and guarantees

These terms apply to every GetOffWP migration. Where this page and anything else on the site disagree, this page wins.

In short

  • The 72-hour clock pauses while I'm waiting on something only you can do, after I've asked for it in writing. Every pause is recorded in your handover report.
  • If your old site already scores 95 or more on mobile PageSpeed, we agree in writing before you pay to compare Largest Contentful Paint instead.
  • After a refund, I point your domain back to your WordPress site if you ask.
  • The 30-day undo is not a refund. Only guarantees 1 and 2 are refundable.
  • Nanoblog is billed separately: included for 3 months, then $29/month, cancel any time.

What you're buying

A one-time migration of a WordPress content site (up to 300 posts) to static code on Cloudflare Workers, with your content edited in Nanoblog afterwards. Before you pay, I confirm in writing that your site is in scope and list anything that won't come across. The guarantees apply to that confirmed scope.

Not in scope: WooCommerce stores, membership and course platforms, and sites over 300 posts unless I've quoted them separately in writing.

Price and payment

The migration costs $1,497, paid upfront before your slot starts.

Nanoblog is billed separately from the migration. The first 3 months are included in the $1,497. After that, Nanoblog is $29/month on its own subscription, and you can cancel it at any time. Cancelling Nanoblog doesn't affect the guarantees, and your code stays in your GitHub either way.

Capacity and scheduling

I take two migrations a week, in the order people confirm. When you pay, I give you a start slot in writing. The 72-hour clock runs from your slot, not from the payment.

How you give me access

The four guarantees, exactly

1. Live in 72 hours, or a full refund

The clock starts at your slot, once I've confirmed that both the WordPress account and the DNS access work. "Live" means your domain serves the new site over HTTPS. If the site isn't live within 72 hours of clock time, you get a full refund on request.

When the clock pauses. The clock pauses only while I'm waiting on something only you can do, such as approving a change at your registrar, confirming a login, or answering a question about your content. The pause starts when I ask you in writing and ends when you've done it or replied. Every pause, with its start and end time, is recorded in your handover report. Nothing else pauses the clock.

2. Faster on Google PageSpeed, or a full refund

The handover-day measurement is final. Later re-tests, and changes made after handover (new scripts, embeds, images or design changes), don't affect it.

If your old site already scores 95 or more. I check your old site's score before you pay. If its median is 95 or higher, there's little room for a higher score, so we agree in writing before you pay to compare Largest Contentful Paint instead. The same tool, page and 5-run medians apply, and the guarantee is met if the new median is lower (faster) than the old one. If we don't agree, I won't take the payment.

3. No broken links, fixed free for 90 days

At the start of the move I list every URL on your old site that returns a page, from your sitemap and a crawl. Each one will either work at the same address on the new site or 301-redirect to the matching page. The list is in your handover report. If you find a miss within 90 days of handover, I fix it within 2 business days at no charge. This guarantee is a fix, not a refund.

4. 30-day undo

I don't modify or delete your WordPress site or its hosting; keeping that hosting active for 30 days after handover is up to you. If you ask within those 30 days, I point your domain back to WordPress within one business day.

The undo is not a refund. Switching back is free, but on its own it doesn't entitle you to any money back. Only guarantees 1 (live in 72 hours) and 2 (faster on PageSpeed) are refundable. If one of them wasn't met, you can claim that refund and switch back as well.

How refunds work

Email hello@getoffwp.com and say which guarantee wasn't met. I reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds are the full $1,497, returned to the original payment method within 14 days.

After a refund. If you ask, I point your domain back to your WordPress site within one business day, at no charge, as long as your WordPress hosting is still active.

Liability

My total liability for a migration is limited to the amount you paid for it, except where the law doesn't allow that limit. You remain responsible for your content, your domain and your old hosting.

If you're buying as a consumer

If you're buying as a private individual in the EU, you have a 14-day right to withdraw. By asking me to start within those 14 days, you agree that the right ends once the migration is complete. If you withdraw mid-migration, you pay for the work done up to that point. For disputes, you can also use out-of-court resolution through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (coi.cz).

Governing law

These terms are governed by Czech law, and disputes go to the competent courts in Brno. If you're a consumer, this doesn't take away the mandatory protections of the country you live in.
